Change the default message on (some) HP printers
Here’s how to change the default message on networked HP printers from “Ready” to something more entertaining, and baffle your co-workers.
Your mileage may vary, but I’ve found this doesn’t work on some newer models. Older printers that are network-ready and support HPPJL (HP Printer Job Language) should work fine though.
