WordPress migration complete (well, almost…)

I have finally moved from Blogger to WordPress, something I’d been meaning to do for months. I must thank this anonymous commenter for spurring me on, and Andy Skelton for his Modified Blogger to WordPress import tool.

There are still a number of tweaks I’d like to carry out, but at least WordPress is installed and I can start updating the site again.

Thanks also go to Dan Guzman for recommending WordPress, Azeem Azeez who designed the template, the entire WordPress dev team for writing such a great platform, Timo Newton-Syms at W2-S Internet Services for being a fantastic Web host and, most of all, you for choosing to visit!

Update: I had a few issues with getting my old Blogger permalinks to point to the right place, but all should be well now. If you find any problems, please leave a comment.

This is my new blog, intended to be a constructive use of my domain name. I had toyed with the idea of building a full website, but this just seemed easier.

Most of the content will be geeky stuff cos… well, that’s what I’m interested in.
